GENERAL OVERVIEW…

Students learn to weave on Schacht Cricket Rigid Heddle Looms. They start out weaving a scarf in evenweave. If desired, they learn to use pick up sticks to create many different and beautiful weaving structures such as leno lace, danish medallions, and incorporating beads to create fabric for tote bags, clothing, placemats and more.

Students in classes and camps choose to work on projects that interest them across many different fiber arts such as sewing, knitting, weaving, crochet or jewelry making.
