Today was a great day in sewing for everyone!!
Aren't these tote bags cute!! They are also very functional and have an added bonus of teaching many of the basic sewing skills in a fun and useful way.
Our studio does it all! Beginners and advanced, using patterns, drafting patterns, mending - we teach it all!
We had our first class for adults today. I don't have any pictures, we were too busy, but we sure had a great time!! Pictures forthcoming next week! Now onto our Monday kid's classes! I have some new Valentines samples for inspiration. I hope they like them!

Our party today was a high success!! All the party goers had a blast and finished their very own unique project!

Our classes did not meet last week because of Thanksgiving break, but it was fabulous to be back creating today!

We had a fantastic time yesterday!! Our fall classes started up and the enthusiasm and excitement running through the studio was like an electric current.

Monday has rolled around again and a new camp is starting. This week it is sewing and our new group of students are fabulous!
Today was our last day of camp for the week. Everyone was laughing and talking and working on their projects.
I simply cannot believe how quickly all these students have learned to sew! They are amazing and focused and extremely creative!
Incredibly, we seemed to have had even MORE fun today in camp!

We have been having a great time and making so many cool things in our weekly sewing classes! I have had a hard time keeping up with these students and their creations!
Everyone came to our Halloween Costume Workshop with lots of energy and ready do work. It's so easy to teach students who want to learn!!

We had our first of three sessions for the Halloween Costume Workshop!! Our students have some great ideas and started on their projects.
We cut out patterns - this one is for a fairy.
We pinned them to our fabric - this will be a vampire.
This will be Rainbow Dash.

We even got some sewing done - this will be a dinosaur.
